Released FAA Tapes Reveal Cynthia McKinney Was Right About 9-11 War Games

“WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 — Newly disclosed tapes offer evidence of the widespread confusion within the military as the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were being carried out, further undermining claims by the Pentagon that it moved quickly to try to intercept and shoot down one or more of the hijacked jets. When matched with the timeline of the attacks, the tapes make clear that information about the hijackings was slow to reach the military on Sept. 11 and that much of the information that did reach Air Force commanders was faulty. The tapes were provided under subpoena to the independent commission that investigated the Sept. 11 attacks, and parts of them had previously been made public by that commission. But the full collection of nearly 30 hours of tapes from the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or Norad, were released by the Pentagon last year to Michael Bronner, a producer on the recent film 'United 93, who described them in detail in an article posted this week on the Web site of Vanity Fair magazine (www.vanityfair.com). On March 11, 2005 Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney a Democrat representing the 4th Congressional District in Georgia asked Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Richard Myers about simulated war games which took place on September 11, 2001 specifically if the war games prevented the US military from protecting the nation that fateful day? While this session was taped by C-Span, the mainstream press suppressed this exchange. Nevertheless the ruling plutocrats understood just how dangerous this Sistah was to their criminal agenda. Ms. McKinney asked General Myers point blank the following question, “The question was, we had four war games going on on September 11th, and the question that I tried to pose before the Secretary had to go to lunch was whether or not the activities of the four war games going on on September 11th actually impaired our ability to respond to the attacks?” Her question was asked to clear the air and get into the Congressional Record the fact there were war games planned and executed on September 11th and to discern whether or not these war games prevented the FAA and military from defending the skies over AmeriKKKa that day?
General Myers gave the following reply to the Congresswoman’s query, “The answer to the question is no, it did not impair our response, in fact General Eberhart who was in the command of the North American Aerospace Defense Command as he testified in front of the 9/11 Commission I believe - I believe he told them that it enhanced our ability to respond, given that NORAD didn't have the overall responsibility for responding to the attacks that day. That was an FAA responsibility. But they were two CPXs; there was one Department of Justice exercise that didn't have anything to do with the other three; and there was an actual operation ongoing because there was some Russian bomber activity up near Alaska. So we -” Seeing where it was going, the Committee Chairman attempted to cut off the discussion. I bring this up because McKinney’s detractors say she is a kook, a wing nut or an “embarrassment”?! Embarrassment? Is she an embarrassment to the media sock puppets who are obviously in cahoots with the NeoCon chicken hawks lying and fomenting perpetual war? Just like when she spilled the beans, suggesting Bu$h had foreknowledge of the 9-11 “attacks” and she was vilified by the NeoCons and right wing media; and later it turned out the CIA had indeed warned Bu$h about bin Laden’s plans to attack AmeriKKKa! Guess what? A release of the FAA 9-11 tapes reveal the US military was totally confused and according to today’s NY Times this confusion undermined the military’s response on 9-11. “The tapes demonstrate that for most of the morning of Sept. 11, the airspace over New York and Washington was essentially undefended, and that jet fighters scrambled to intercept the hijacked planes were involved in a fruitless chase for planes that had already crashed. Although much of the conversation in the tapes is heavy with military jargon, it makes clear the terror of the morning, with military air controllers trying to monitor the whereabouts of hijacked planes bearing down on lower Manhattan and Washington. ‘I got an aircraft six miles east of the White House!’ one military commander is quoted as barking to a colleague. The tapes also document a conversation among officers about how best to shoot down passenger planes, if the order came from the White House. ‘My recommendation, if we have to take anybody out, large aircraft, we use AIM-9’s in the face,’ an Air Force commander is quoted as saying, a reference to a type of missile that would be fired into the nose of the plane. Let me emphasis this, Cynthia McKinney was right on target again about the war games confusing the FAA and military on 9-11; which of course is why 9-11 unfolded the way it did that day. This revelation about the war games is even more evidence 9-11 was an inside job. This brothers and sistahs is why the NeoCons and Zionists want to defeat Cynthia McKinney in this upcoming run off election! They cannot stand her integrity, they hate the fact she is fearless and uncompromising in her quest for truth and in service to her constituents. Of course the kept media will not make this connection nor will they admit Cynthia McKinney is on the case. The last thing these criminals and their sycophants want is an honest and committed person in the halls of the US Congress.
The New York Times no less shows McKinney was right!!! McKinney put her seat in jeopardy by daring to suggest we be fair and open minded on the Israeli-Palestinian question. The rabid Zionists went after her in 2002 and they were successful. Don’t allow these warmongers to win again. Don’t allow them to send another Milquetoast sock puppet to Congress whose loyalties will be to the Zionists and the corporations rather than the people. Cynthia is the people’s champion. She is on target about the critical issues facing this nation; but more importantly she is willing to speak out and expose the criminals. Let’s support this Sistah and help her win next week and in November!
