Gaslighting Is So Intense, It’s Hard to Keep Up

Several
years ago, the term gaslighting became a fixture in our popular
vocabulary, it’s an older term which dates back to a 1938 stage play called Angel
Street and a 1944 motion picture based upon the play named Gaslight.
The play and film’s plot were a husband’s attempts to drive his wife crazy, to
make her doubt herself, to thoroughly confuse her so he could put her in an
insane asylum and steal her fortune.
Gaslight and gaslighting became popular terms
in the mid 2000’s. “Gaslighting is a form of
psychological abuse where a person causes someone to question their sanity,
memories, or perception of reality. People who experience gaslighting may feel
confused, anxious, or unable to trust themselves…Gaslighting is a method of
gaining control over someone else. It works by breaking down a person’s trust
in themselves while increasing how much they trust or depend on the abusive

We are being subjected to a massive
gaslighting campaign on a daily basis, non-stop every day 24/7/365 by the
media, the government, corporations and their flunkies; who lie to us,
manipulate our perceptions, attempt to construct an alternative reality and
constantly foist it upon us. It is a devious form of mind control. In mind
control the perpetrators attempt to manipulate the targets’ perceptions, they
want to influence our ideation so we think the ideas and images they bombard us
with are our own and they want to redirect our thinking and behaviors in ways
that benefit them to the detriment of the targets; which is us.
In 2026 the gaslighting campaign is
rapid fire, it comes at us so thick and intensive it is hard to keep up; it’s a
literal barrage a tsunami of BS all the time. We have not only been conditioned
to tolerate and accept it, unfortunately we are actively engaged in
facilitating our own craziness by consuming the BS, buying the gadgets and
gizmos and becoming addicted to the content and programming the powers who
shouldn’t be use to gaslight us!
For example, Israel is currently conducting
a campaign of genocide in Gaza which they tell the world is “defense,” that they
are responding to attacks upon them by Hamas on October 7, 2023. For decades prior
to October 7, Israel claimed Hamas was a terrorist organization but the fact of
the matter is Israel helped create and fund Hamas to serve as a counterweight

The other fact we are programmed
to ignore is Gaza is one of the most heavily surveilled, monitored and guarded
locations on the planet. It is a virtual open-air panopticon environment! The
Israeli spy apparatus can detect a rat pissing on cotton! Yet the Israelis
gaslight us to believe Hamas launched a “surprise attack” on them on October 7,
2023!? In a Freudian slip they even said it was their 9-11.
The Israelis claim any
criticism of their genocidal campaign against the Palestinians and Gaza is
Anti-Semitism. This is gaslighting pure and simple! The repetitive gaslighting
has many people questioning their interpretation of the images coming out of
Gaza showing the obvious destruction and murder of countless innocent men,
women and children who have nothing to do with Hamas. This is collective
punishment which is a war crime!
Meanwhile here at home the Trump Administration is constantly
gaslighting us. Trump tells us inflation is under control, that his tariffs and
trade wars are benefitting America when in fact, they are clearly backfiring
and causing major harm, stress and strain to American households. Plus, the US
Supreme Court ruled them unconstitutional!
Trump tells us he is winning the war in Iran a war he and Israel
launched despite the irrefutable fact Iran posed no threat to either the US or
Israel and the attacks were launched during active negotiations between the US
and Iran designed to resolve long standing issues. Trump’s perfidy compounded
the fact he launched an unprovoked attack on a nation which posed no threat to
the US nor had not attacked America or its allies!
But that changed immediately after Israel and Trump attacked
Iran. Iran retaliated immediately by hitting Israel and the Gulf States who
hosted US military bases and installations hard with devastating accuracy,
severely damaging or destroying the radar, communications structures, air
fields and assorted infrastructural targets. Iran kept up the barrages even
after suffering serve damage and attacks on its own facilities. For Iran this
is an existential struggle, a fight to the death against The Great Satan and
its lackies.
Yet the US Congress quibbles over the fact Trump didn’t consult
them before he launched this unprovoked attack on Iran. There is no mention of
the wrongfulness of the attacks nor the immorality of the assaults especially during
active negotiations or the fact Trump is currently engaged in acts of piracy in
international waters against Venezuela and now Iran! Where is the Congressional
outrage, the moral indignation? Instead, we get more calls to resume the war,
to obliterate Iran.
It is obvious the gaslighting will continue nonstop; we have to
prepare ourselves for the onslaught. What can we do? Stop consuming media!
Assert yourself, think for yourself, use best judgement, discernment and
intuition to shape your opinions and worldview! We are not Zombies or mindless dolts,
we have agency, the power to control our own thoughts and minds; don’t
relinquish your power for the BS.
