What Are You Thankful For, Count Your Blessings

A special day was
set aside for prayer and thanksgiving in 1621 by William Bradford the
governor of the Plymouth colony from England to commemorate the first
harvest and the colony’s survival through the winter. Out of that
occasion the American holiday of Thanksgiving was born. All holidays
are man made whether they are religious or secular. Tribes, clans,
communities and groups created festivals and holy days to mark
celestial events such as the rising of a particular star, the
equinoxes or the planting and harvesting seasons. Often days were set
aside to remember a special occurrence such as victory in war or the
death of a hero or special person. All holidays are man made.
Today we celebrate
the holiday called Thanksgiving which was made a national day of
observance or holiday by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1939 when
he selected the third Thursday in November. Now it is observed on the
fourth Thursday in November.
We have come a long
way from a day of prayer and thanksgiving to where we are now in 2024
where Thanksgiving is a day of gathering with a primary focus on food
(gluttony?) and football. Perhaps we should get back to the original
intent, a day of prayer, meditation and thanksgiving. Modern society,
what some mistakenly call progress is not so progressive in that it
eschews notions of being grateful and appreciative for life, bounty
and blessings. We have become too fixed on entitlement and selfish.
Thanksgiving helps
us think about family and being together. On this day pause and take
a few minutes to actually think about the things in your life you are
grateful for, what is important to you, what you value and consider a
blessing. It could be good health, a home, a roof over your head,
family and friends who love you and care for you who want the best
for you. It could be your children, grandchildren and extended
family. Amid the chaos, commercialism and consumerism and the focus
on material things, take time to rethink what is really important to
you. Think about your parents and ancestors because if it wasn’t
for them you would not be here. Give thanks for them.
We did not get here
on our own or by ourselves; neither did this planet or the universe.
Much of the world believes in the so called “Big Bang theory” of
creation; but they never stop to ask what caused the big bang? How
can you have an explosion that creates the vastness of galaxies and
celestial systems from nothing?! Where does gravity come from? How
and why are life and nature an interconnected and interdependent
ecosystem? How did this awesomeness manifest from a single explosion?
Modern so called scientists, academicians and intellectuals fail to
even speculate the cause behind their big bang. Yet they say the
universe is expanding; how?
I know intuitively
that there is a CREATIVE force and energy in the universe that
undergirds and sustains everything. It has been called many names
throughout the course of human history. All tribes and cultures have
a name for this intelligence, power and energy. Some simply call it
God, Chi, Jok, Nommo to name a few and whole systems of theology and
religion have been created to define, deify, explain and pay homage
to it.
Unfortunately in
modern times especially in America this intelligence, power and
energy has been replaced by crass materialism or worse an uncritical
worship of technology. We are no longer in awe of life; in fact there
is a movement away from the natural order towards transhumanism,
bio-digital convergence, cyborgs and such. The arrogance behind this
mentality may prove the undoing of humanity because it is opposed to
the natural order, the intelligence, power and energy that sustains
the universe!
On this
Thanksgiving day, take inventory of what you are thankful for, what
you can point to that gives you joy for what is going on in your life
that you feel good about. Take the time to think about this and give
conscious thanks. Deliberate, conscious appreciation and thanksgiving
are a form of positive therapy, the more you recognize what you have
to be grateful for the happier you become; and in today’s
environment who doesn’t want to feel good about themselves and
their situation? Try it and see what happens. If it doesn’t work
for you, you can always go back to being unconsciously ungrateful.

Days ago feeble minded Joe Biden gave Ukraine the authorization to
launch US and Western long range missiles deep into Russian
territory! Immediately after receiving the go ahead the clown
masquerading as Ukraine’s president ordered the launching of US
and British missiles into Russian territory. Meanwhile Russia
president Vladimir Putin announced his new criteria for use of
nuclear weapons to defend his nation.
The US legacy media casually and nonchalantly mentioned dementia Joe
had given Volodymyr Zelenskyy the green light to escalate the war
against Russia and Ukraine had launched long range missiles into
Russian territory. There was no negative reaction whatsoever. No
Republicans, no librarians nor any Democrats lambasted Biden for his
fool-hearty decision. How is it America and its citizens are so
somnambulant, apathetic and uncaring? Are we so used to being
programmed, conditioned and brainwashed to acquiesce to this nation’s
role as the greatest purveyor of violence on this planet we have
become totally desensitized to killing, maiming, devastation and
destruction? Is America as immoral as the Nazis or ancient Rome?
It seems so. The optics in the media of the wanton bombing of
civilians in Gaza by Israeli forces; the killing and maiming of
innocent men, women and children was not a hot topic in the recent
presidential campaign because the Zionists weld so much power in the
US they were able to suppress any vigorous discussion. Look at how
successful they were in shutting down the campus protests last spring
and how presidents of major elite US universities were hauled before
Congress and excoriated and brow-beaten by legislators beholden to
AIPAC for bribes and donations. Freedom of speech and the right to
protest were effectively stifled right before our eyes.
Things are so bad during the recent presidential campaign no one
mentioned or protested the fact the US is sending billions of dollars
and equipment to Israel and Ukraine while US citizens simultaneously
suffering from the devastation of natural disasters right here at
home were ignored by this same government! What’s up with that?!
Where is the outrage, where is the strident denunciation of this
genocide, insanity and evil? Why aren’t people in the streets
protesting, boycotting and divesting? Are we this amoral, weak minded
and impotent we will sit back and wait hoping someone like Donald
Trump will magically come to save the day?
Guess what, Donald Trump is just as beholden to the Zionists as the
Democrats are,perhaps more so. Trump bombastically claims he will
resolve the situation in Ukraine within days of taking office. How
many sane people actually believe that, especially after the West has
crossed another one of Putin’s lines in the sand?
Even if Trump had the capacity to bring all parties together, now
that Zelenskyy is attacking Russia with the blessings of NATO this
presents a whole new dynamic. The world is in the beginning stages of
an escalating global conflagration as we speak! There are thousands
of North Korean troops fighting along side Russian troops in Ukraine.
American and Western contractors and military are directing the
logistics for the missile systems and using advanced technology the
Ukrainians do not possess to facilitate the missile attacks inside
Russia! Is is beyond just Russia trying to de-Nazify Ukraine, this is
a world war!
Meanwhile the legacy media is presenting US warmongers who are
telling the American public Putin is bluffing about using nuclear
weapons. They are cheering the use of NATO weapons against Russia as
if this is a video game or a fictitious action movie. This is insane.
What will it take for Americans to wake from their stupor and call
dementia Joe out for his irresponsible and reckless actions?! Why
aren’t more independent or alternative media outlets and
influencers raising this issue and demanding direct action against
the warmongers? Have we drank the Neocon’s Kool-Aide, do we think
Putin is bluffing, that he will not retaliate against NATO and the
US? Do we think there is time enough to sort all this out and hope
saner heads prevail?
Or are we in a daze, sleepwalking towards global annihilation as we
are being driven over the abyss by psychopaths, war profiteers and
warmongers? Only time will reveal the answers. In the meantime
people, please wake up!

Now that the
election is over and the shock of Trump winning a convincing and
decisive victory has sunk in, it’s time to look back to see how
this happened and why the Deep State and its lackeys failed to stem
the tide of dissatisfaction and angst that was actively percolating
in the psyches of so many people. Looking at the election count map
the Democrats got walloped, only Harris’ win in states like
California and New York with their huge electoral votes staved off an
overwhelming landslide.
In many ways this
was not just a victory for Donald Trump and I’m no fan of Donald
Trump I voted for Jill Stein the Green Party Candidate. From my
perspective this is a greater win for the people who rejected the
weaponization of the law, the disingenuous tropes about Trump being a
Russian asset the blatant deplatforming of a sitting US president by
the social media monopolies and by voting for Trump people punched
holes in the lies about him being a “threat to democracy” by the
party and media who circumvented the direct involvement in the
democratic process altogether when they arbitrarily selected Kamala
Harris to be their candidate after unceremoniously kicking the senile
Joe Biden to the proverbial curb.
The system is set
up and rigged so there are no real choices within the two party
scheme. Look at how the Democrats repeatedly snuffed out or
suppressed potential candidates like Bernie Sanders and Robert
Kennedy Jr. Is that true democracy, of course not! It is hypocrisy at
its highest and the people realized it and rejected it
wholeheartedly.
As for the election
postmortem; aside from the blatant hypocrisy of the Democratic Party
elites arbitrarily selecting Kamala Harris as their candidate; the
lack of any accomplishments the Democrats could cite fatally damaged
Kamala Harris because nothing she said could offset the in your face
reality people were still trying to recover from the COVID
disruptions, they were struggling to cope with the constant rising
costs of living, the Biden administrations’ open support of Israeli
genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and Palestine and the fact her
administration was sending billions overseas to support a losing
effort in Ukraine but did nothing to help Americans suffering the
devastation of hurricanes and natural disasters here at home! These
issues overwhelmed her and she had no rebuttal for them.
Demographically
this was a gender, class, race and ethnicity and ideological
election. Kamala Harris lost because she failed to energize all the
demographics she needed to win the election: the traditional
stalwarts of the Democratic Party, males, especially Black and Latino
males and working class folks. She had Black females but like Hillary
Clinton she was unable to reach and convince the broad spectrum of
white women of all class and socioeconomic levels to vote for her!
Whining about sexism is a waste of time because Harris absolutely
failed to rally enough females to support her, the numbers don’t
lie.
Abortion,
reproductive rights and Roe v Wade animus was the main focus of her
campaign ads. While these were hot button emotional issues they were
not relevant or strong enough to turn the tide, they could not trump
(pardon the pun) the visceral issues of: inflation, anxiety driven by
an overall view America is heading in the wrong direction and the
fact there was major animus against the ruling elites and their
depictions of working class people.
The celebrities
Harris garnered were not germane because they did not address the
concerns of ordinary working class folks. What do billionaires like
Oprah Winfrey and multi millionaires like Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen
or Taylor Swift know about struggling to make ends meet?! They do not
empathize with the day to day struggles or the issues of the urban
poor, or suburban and rural folks. Nor could they nor did they
articulate any profound solutions to the challenges this nation
faces. Plus many of them were tainted by their association with Sean
“P Diddy” Combs.
As a former
prosecutor Harris lost credibility because she was unable to shake
her ties to the “defund the police” movement and mainly her
connections to Joe Biden and his policies. She never articulated the
ways and means beyond her shallow pandering to various constituencies
or elaborated on how she was going to actually do something about
rising prices, nor did she provide details on how she was going to
structure the tax credits or pay for all the things she was
promising.
To critical
thinkers she came across as shallow and disingenuous. Joe Biden was
an albatross around her neck because he was so unpopular and people
resented the fact Harris helped cover up his dementia and declining
physical health for three years!
The good news is,
the sun came up the next day. The election is behind us and now we
have to prepare for another Donald Trump administration. Trump has
consistently shown us who and what he is. He’s a blowhard, a bully,
a narcissist, a media creation who is not a moral man or a deep
thinker. While Trump did not start any new wars while he was
president, the fear is he will allow Israel to drag America and
possibly the world into a regional or global conflagration.
With the
Republicans controlling the White House and both houses of Congress
there will be few checks and balances to hinder him and the
Democratic Party is in such disarray now, they will not be able to
mount formidable or well structured opposition to him. Also most of
the court cases Trump is facing may melt away. All the Democrats and
Trump haters will be able to do is whine and call him names.
Trump was a pain in
the behind for the globalists because he started trade wars with
China, Canada, Mexico and the EU that shook and inconvenienced
globalization. He challenged the relevancy of NATO, he defunded the
World Health Organization and the Deep State is extremely leery of
him. Did he drain the swamp the last time? No! Will he drain it this
time, I doubt it. There have already been several attempts on his
life so time will tell what his actual legacy will be. The Chinese
have a saying, “may you live in interesting times”; we are indeed
living in interesting times.

The (s)election is
over, the votes have been cast, most of the votes have been counted
and a winner has been declared, named Donald J Trump. For many of his
followers this is great news, a huge victory, it’s an exoneration a
vindication a redemption of sorts. For them, their hero won and all
is right with the world. For the other side, it is the worst day
imaginable, they are having meltdowns and now they must eat all their
promises to emigrate to some other country as they commiserate,
awfulize and prognosticate about the future.
The advisors,
operatives, fixers, shills and “experts” have been paid, now its
off to the next circus/event. Some are in shock and disbelief over
the outcome. Bogus pollsters told them it would be tight race but
Harris had momentum. But the pollsters rarely talk to real people.
Large segments of the nation drank the media Kool-Aid and fixated on
“threats to our democracy” by the new Hitler. Others created and
crafted scenarios that defied common sense and reality to generate
hot button issues to encourage more women to vote for Harris. The
“strategists” learned from the Hillary debacle they needed women
to flood the voting both for their candidate. Alas it didn’t work.
There are as many
ways to see a thing as there are people to see it. Alas many are
seeing the world through a prism designed for them by the outsiders,
the oligarchs, their henchmen and women, the mind control apparatus,
the legacy and social media etc. Many were turned off by the
government’s heavy handed COVID response. People realized they were
being lied to by the media and politicians.
The election is
over, the sun still rose today, there was no monumental shift in
status or consciousness and for the most part things are pretty much
the same as they were the day before. A lot of pundits and so called
“experts” have egg on their faces and that’s a good thing.
Looking back and looking at today, has the election changed much of
anything for the better or worst? Has all the media and campaign
hyperbole and hysteria, the ad-hominem personal attacks and vitriolic
verbiage made America a better place? Did this election campaign
elevate the positive energy or intentions of us as a nation or has
the vibration and energy created by this campaign become more
acerbic? Will the sixty percent of Americans who admitted this
campaign cycle had a negative impact on their mental health get
better or will the fractious and divisive rhetoric continue well into
the post election era?
Where do we go from
here, what’s next? We are just coming out of a four year period of
divisive, disruptive, emotionally draining rhetoric and policies over
for many such as myself was a contrived “pandemic” whereby the
government, Big Pharma, the legacy and social Media, non-elected
experts and billionaires sought to re-engineer and reconfigure global
society around a “virus” that had a ninety-eight per cent
recovery rate for healthy people! They called it Operation Warp Speed
and The Great Reset. They were determined to build back better!
Look at the mess they made with that, who is going to be held
accountable?
What does it tell
you when the very people and “experts” who exhorted and mandated
folks to take untested mRNA shots, who said if you take the shot you
won’t get COVID like Fauci, Biden and others all got COVID several
times?!
The fact is too
many Americans are not healthy in mind body or spirit! The “pandemic”
hysteria acerbated this situation because the government’s
mitigation policies divided and fractured families, split friendships
and disrupted relationships as did the recent political campaign.
America has yet to recover from the so called COVID remediation
policies; there is still a bitter taste in people’s mouths about
that as the election results showed.
How do we regroup,
how do we emerge triumphant and begin to repair and mend the wounds
these events have caused. How do we emotionally divest from our
positions, attitudes and beliefs when it is clear holding onto them
will continue to damage us and further the disintegration of the
social fabric of families, friendships and society in general. And by
the way who benefits from this division and acrimony?
America has always
been divided along gender, class, race, color, ethnicity,
occupational status and ideological lines. In recent years it seems
these divisions have been exacerbated and manipulated by devious
operatives to further a nefarious agenda. It is not just about making
money off of human suffering, war, societal changes induced by
disruptive technology or a mindset favoring pharmaceuticals over
natural healing; it runs much deeper than that, it is an anti life
New World Order agenda and a total disregard for people’s values.
The election is
merely one symptom. The election is over, what are you/we going to
do now? No politician is going to save us even if he or she had the
capability, because evil forces who benefit from the chaos would step
in to eliminate him or her. We cannot cower in fear, we cannot allow
evil to win, so what do we do?
In short, we stand
up for higher principles, we exemplify truth, justice, peace and
sanity. We decide to act with integrity to our highest ideals no
matter what the oligarchs say or do! We resist, we absolutely
refuse to fall for the okey-doke and flim-flam! We vote with our
wallets and pocketbooks by our consumer choices. We refuse to support
entities who profit from war, ecocide and human debasement. Voting
is just one act you do on one day. Just as you voted for your
candidates by making a decisive commitment to get to the polls and
vote (or not), make the same commitment to live with intention and
peace!
