The Struggle Intensifies

On March 27, 2025 President Trump
issued Executive Order #14253 with a dastardly Orwellian title Restoring
Truth and Sanity to American History with the stated purpose of doing away
with and shutting down fifty exhibits at thirty-seven sites around the nation
that in Trump’s mind disparaged America and Americans past and present or
depicted America(ns) in a negative light. The Smithsonian Institute in
Washington D.C. and the Presidents House Slavery Memorial were two sites
Trump’s EO specifically targeted.
In January of 2026 employees of the
National Park Service in Philadelphia executed Trump’s order and dismantled thirty-four
panels and interactive video exhibits at the Sixth and Market Street site of
the original Robert Morris House which served as the first White House
(President’s House) during George Washington’s time as the first president of
the newly created United States of America.
While
Washington carried out his official duties in Philadelphia nine enslaved
persons of African descent forcibly labored at that residence. They were: Austin, Christopher
Sheels, Giles, Hercules, Joe (Richardson), Moll, Oney
Judge, Paris, and Richmond.
This site is significant because
Washington who was an enslaver and former soldier who waged wars against
Europeans and Indigenous Americans brought nine enslaved Africans to serve him
and his wife Martha to Philadelphia from their Virginia plantation. George and
Martha “owned” or managed a total of
three hundred and seventeen enslaved persons at the time of Washington’s
demise. One hundred and twenty-three were “owned” by Washington, his wife
Martha inherited one hundred fifty-three from her first husband and they
rented another forty or so from neighbors.
Trump’s
decree is designed to erase this information from the public consciousness
especially during the two hundred and fiftieth celebration of this nation’s
founding. Immediately upon hearing of the National Park Service’s dismantling
of the exhibits, the City of Philadelphia, the Avenging the Ancestors
Coalition, Black Journeys and The Presidents House Slavery Memorial Coalition
sprang into action. The city filed a federal lawsuit seeking an injunction to
stay the National Park Service’s actions. ATAC, Black Journeys, PHSMC, Governor
Shapiro and the State Democratic Caucus filed amicus briefs in support of the
city’s position.
Cynthia M.
Rufe a Federal District Court Judge heard oral arguments and reviewed the
submitted briefs and subsequently ruled the National Park Service must restore
the exhibit to its original pristine condition immediately. The NPS partially
complied. The Trump Administration immediately filed an appeal in the Third
Circuit Court which later overruled the District Court ruling. Litigation is
still pending as ATAC and Black Journeys have petitioned the court to be
included as plaintiffs in the case, this matter is still pending.
Last week
in a Massachusetts District Federal Court another case was filed also
challenging Trumps Executive Order as it pertained to fifty exhibits in the thirty-seven
sites around the country, The President’s House Slavery Memorial included. The
Judge in that case Angel Kelly ruled the government could not arbitrarily shut
those exhibits down, she issued a preliminary injunction and ordered the Trump
Administration must submit weekly progress reports on the restoration of all
the exhibits.
The administration appealed to the
First Circuit Court in Massachusetts which unanimously agreed to pause Judge
Kelly’s order mandating the sites had to be restored by July 3 the day before
the Fourth of July celebrations! However, the three-judge panel allowed Judge
Kelly’s ruling preventing the National Park Service and the Trump administration
from dismantling and purging the exhibits around the nation to stand. Other
aspects of these cases also are still awaiting further litigation.
The struggle for truth and an
accurate depiction of American history intensifies! Stay tuned.

Trump's Iran Deal Is A Farce
Trump’s Iran Deal Is a Farce
Junious Ricardo Stanton
For weeks
Donald Trump has been waffling between threats of annihilation and promises of
a “deal” to end all deals to resolve the Iran war; a war he started at the
behest of another nation. Time after time Trump has said the Strait of Hormuz
would be opened or else and the free flow of commerce and trade would be
restored. None of this has happened. Now once again he promises a “deal” will
be signed within days.
First of
all, there is no deal, what is being proposed is actually an agreed Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU) between the US and Iran. Israel the nation who
instigated and coerced Trump into attacking Iran is not included anywhere in
the wording whatsoever. Iran posed no threat to the US or any nation in the
region. Conversely, Netanyahu has been crying without verification, Iran was
minutes away from a nuclear weapon for thirty years? It turned out to be just another lie like
Saddam Husein’s weapons of mass destruction or Al-Asad gassing his own people.
Lies to gin up wars on behalf of Israel, the US Military Industrial Complex and
Wall Street.
Trump and Netanyahu’s war against
Iran did not go as Israel promised Trump it would; to their huge surprise Iran
hit hack extremely harder than they anticipated. Iran hit the US military bases
hosted by the Arab nations in the region devastating them, leaving them in
ruins along with much of those nation’s petroleum infrastructure. Iranian
drones and missiles bombarded Israel constantly, demolishing their vaunted Iron
Doom defenses, key military facilities and infrastructure. Iran hit them so
hard Israel was forced to call on Trump to seek a cease fire both during the
twelve-day war in June of 2025 and this year following their February 2026
attacks on Iran.
So here we are in a gargantuan quagmire.
Iran shut down Israel and the US’s attempts to foment a color revolution inside
Iran before their attacks. When the US and Israeli attacks commenced, Iran
exposed US military vulnerabilities, totally neutralized US aircraft carriers
to the point they were afraid to venture anywhere near Iran’s missile and drone
ranges, then Iran thwarted a US raid to capture Iranian nuclear materials demonstrating
how ineffective US ground forces were for this war.
Iran and its allies are pummeling Israel and
there is nothing either the US or Israel can do about it. US and Israel
airstrikes have not crippled Iran military capabilities! Iran shut the Strait of Hormuz placing a
stranglehold on the global economy, international shipping and commerce. The
controlled US media is not telling this side of the war story.
Trump’s foolish actions have put
the world at risk for food and energy shortages, interrupted international
supply lines and movement and have totally undermined US national security by
antagonizing China to the point China refuses to sell or provide the needed
rare earth minerals because Iran is one of China’s main trading partners! By continuing
to support the proxy war against Russia, Russia is seriously assisting Iran
against the US and Israel. Trump’s foolishness is causing massive suffering around
the world and most sane people know the US and Israel are losing this war!
So Trump is desperate for a “deal”
but Iran holds the best hand and has all the leverage. The “deal” Trump keeps
promising is really an unsigned MOU. There is nothing final about it. Here is
what the MOU which has not been signed or approved by Congress says. There will
be a sixty day cease fire period, all aggression will cease including in Gaza
and Lebanon by all parties, both parties will refrain from interfering in each
other’s’ domestic affairs, the Strait of
Hormuz will be open unhindered by US blockades allowing the free flow of traffic,
US will unfreeze all Iranian assets and make them immediately available to
Iran, the US will lift all sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the
US will grant waivers to allow Iran to trade in its natural resources, the US
and Iran will work together to finalize this agreement and verify it by the United Nations Security Council.
From my perspective this seems like
a huge win for Iran and a total capitulation by Trump; In fact, Obama’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)
https://www.britannica.com/event/Joint-Comprehensive-Plan-of-Action
was more thorough, involved more international involvement, participants and
oversight. In other words, Trump’s “deal” is a farce! To make matters worse
neither Netanyahu nor Israel are ever going to abide by this on any level and
they have publicly said so! Don’t celebrate too early.

Support Socially Conscious Black Owned Media
Support Socially Responsible Black Owned Media
Junious Ricardo Stanton
For over
twenty years I have been associated with Black Internet radio; first with Don
Rojas’ Website and Internet radio station The Black World Today back in
2000. When that went defunct, I went with Neil Blake’s Rainbow Soul and Music
Massage channels, then to Onion Horton’s New Black City, then to Dalani Ammon’s
Harambee Radio and to Keidi Obi Awadu’s www.LIBRadio.com’s Falcon Forum. I briefly
produced and hosted a program on the Before It’s News Website Internet Radio
station. I say all this to let you know Internet radio has been a big part of
my life for decades, I was a pioneering in Internet radio. I’ve been a producer
and host for several talk shows, I’ve been a DJ playing socially conscious
music on my Message in The Music shows on two Internet radio stations
before they went out of existence. I also produced podcasts and video-casts for
years on several platforms.
Prior to
Internet radio I produced and hosted a program on WHAT radio 1340 AM in
Philadelphia called Positively Black for ten years. I’ve been a
community journalist and columnist since the 1990’s and at one time I was
syndicated weekly by the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) an
organization of over 200 Black owned newspapers around the country. In
Philadelphia, I wrote for : SCOOP USA, Renaissance Magazine, The
Philadelphia New Observer, Real News, The Black Business Review
On The Scene Magazine and occasionally The West Side Weekly. I
also wrote for About Time Magazine out of Rochester New York for several
years.
I’m not
saying this to toot my own horn but to reflect on over thirty years of media
involvement and engagement. Looking back, I was motivated to use my skills to
promote, celebrate and uplift my people because I knew the general market media
(White media) was never going to treat us fairly, honestly tell our stories or
share our rich history and contributions not only to this country but the
world. So, I took it upon myself to do just that and quite frankly most times I
didn’t get paid and if I did it was not what I could have commanded in the
general market papers as a freelancer.
This happened not because Black
publishers were cheap but because they were barely scraping by, they were
struggling to pay to get the paperers printed or the radio station (terrestrial
and Internet) profitable because they couldn’t get the crucial advertising
support from Black or White businesses and advertisers.
This has been an ongoing historical
pattern since Freedom’s Journal the first Black newspaper was founded in
New York City by Samuel Cornish and John Russwurm two “free” Blacks in
1827. Their mission was to offer a
rebuttal to and provide a powerful and articulate alternative to the slander,
denigration and lies the White press printed about people of African descent! We are still subjected to that in 2026!
Since 1827, Black media has always
had to struggle to survive especially during the enslavement, Post
Reconstruction legalized apartheid periods and today’s divisive anti-Black social
milieu. I am a witness to this first
hand as I have served as a writer, an editor and I’ve produced terrestrial and
Internet radio program content for decades. I brokered or purchased the time on
WHAT so I had to come up with a way to cover the cost. I was able to secure a
few loyal advertisers before Cody Anderson the owner graciously allowed me to
do the show free of cost.
I admired
the work Acel Moore and Reggie Bryant did once they founded the National
Association of Black Journalists; their pioneering work was responsible for
getting many Blacks into general market media in news, radio and television.
Their groundbreaking television program Black Perspective on the News
was a seminal work and garnered praise and recognition throughout the industry.
It was syndicated on PBS. However, I was
never interested in that, I wanted and still want to help build Black media and
carve out a solid sustainable niche for us.
I have contributed to White
stations and social media platforms so I have no issue or problems
collaborating with anyone. I feel it is my calling to be a voice and contributor
to conscious and progressive Black media, especially in times such as these
where our voices are being muffled, censored and suppressed by algorithms, editors
and special interest groups who want to negate us altogether.
I say all of this to urge you to
support socially and politically conscious Black owned media whether it is
print, radio, Internet or streaming. We must have our own voice and offer our
own perspectives beyond the clap-trap and gaslighting we are subjected to on a
daily basis. We deserve better programming than the stereotypical depictions
even Black producers foist on us as: thugs, hyper-sexualized, vulgar and profane
caricatures we see in the films, TV shows, videos and songs in the marketplace
today.
As a people we are better than that
and we should display our better side to ourselves and the world. Notice in
most commercial we are always dancing and playing sports; we do more than that
and we should tell stories and depict ourselves in ways which show our
diversity, resilience and successes. We need media to do this! Support
conscious Black media!

Current Trends, What You Need to KNow
Current
Trends, What You Need
to Know
Junious
Ricardo Stanton
Every day highly paid script/copy
readers, shills, propagandists and sycophants proport to tell us the “news”
however, what they are really doing is gaslighting and lying to us. Sure, some
of the events they “report” are factual especially the local occurrences:
fires, accidents, community events etc. but overall, the news is intentionally
designed and presented from the perspective of the owner and managerial classes
who need to keep us ignorant of their misconduct, objectives, agenda and how
they are taking advantage of us; big time.
For example, we are told inflation
is on the rise which is true, but they are not telling us the actual causes of
inflation or what inflation really is. We think inflation is rising costs for
consumer goods and services which is true but that is not the cause. Inflation
is a result of actions the ruling class do not want us to know about. Why? Because
once we found out and we were in our right minds we would hold them accountable
for their dastardly deeds and crimes against humanity.
The truth is, inflation is caused by
a rise not in prices but in the amount of money in circulation; which in a fiat
system like America has, directly impacts the value of the money in circulation
since it is not backed by anything tangible like gold. Western economists use
what I call mumbo gumbo speak to obfuscate the reality the US economy which is
based upon money, is manipulated by the central banksters. Their machinations
have a direct influence on the supply of money in circulation at any given
time.
“Central banks can influence M2 supply by
either issuing more money into the economy or by incentivising people to spend
less. Quantitative
easing is one way that a central bank can increase money supply
and stimulate the economy. To reduce the supply of M2 in an economy, a central
bank might issue bonds or other government-backed securities which lenders can
buy; in doing so, they loan the government money. This means that a central
bank’s money reserves increase at the expense of the money available in the
economy. Central banks can also increase or decrease interest rates to
influence M2. If interest rates are lower, borrowing will likely become more
popular, which will increase the supply of money. Conversely, if interest
rates rise, then the cost of borrowing will also go up which will deter people
from taking out loans. This will decrease the M2 money supply in an economy.”
M2 Money Supply Definition https://www.ig.com/uk/glossary-trading-terms/m2-money-supply-definition
(Emphasis is mine.)
This is why Trump was applying so much pressure on the
former US central bank chair Jerome Powell; Trump wanted Powell to reduce
interest rates meaning the cost of borrowing money. In effect Trump wanted to
make it easier for people to get deeper in debt! `But what also was/is in play
was the actual increase in the US money supply (M2) over the past few years. In
fact, this increase has been humongous in the trillions of dollars.
“Since
2009, the TMS money supply is now up by more than 206 percent. (M2 has grown
by more than 160 percent in that period.) Out of the current money supply of
$20.4 trillion, nearly 30 percent of that has been created since January 2020.
Since 2009, in the wake of the global financial crisis, more than $14 trillion
of the current money supply has been created. In other words, more than
two-thirds of the total existing money supply have been
created since the Great Recession.” Money Supply Growth in 2026 Rises to
Multi Year High as the Fed Pumps New QE https://mises.org/mises-wire/money-supply-growth-2026-rises-multi-year-high-fed-pumps-new-qe (Emphasis
is mine.)
The constant rise in M2 is making
existing money worth less and less; which means you need more dollars to
purchase goods and services. Trump’s foolish tariffs, his misuse of tariffs and
his insane war on behalf of Israel against Iran, are causing massive
repercussions which negatively impact US and global economies. The loss of global
trade, numerous supply chain disruptions, US dollar debasement as the central
banksters print more and more dollars are making life miserable for ordinary
Americans while overvalued stocks are making the ownership and managerial
classes richer every day!
Suffice it
to say inflation is not going to stop or go down. Due to the wars in Iran and
Ukraine there will be food, oil, chemical and petroleum-based product shortages
which will affect our pocketbooks and wallets. And this is merely the tip of
the spear!
Trump
has already said he is not concerned about how this affects Americans! In an
earlier post I predicted the Iran war will continue and it has. Now we are
looking at a perfect storm of devastating consequences that will not only smack
the American Empire but the whole world; which by the way is why this is being
manipulated by the powers who shouldn’t be!
